2009 NFL Picks: Week 14

Looks like I missed the Thursday night game. That’s what happens when you decide to post picks for the first time in the middle of week 14. Here are my picks for the rest of this week’s games. Drop a comment and let me know if you agree, think I’m crazy, or just plain dumb!
New Orleans at Atlanta: (Saints) Last week the Saints dodged the bullet. This week they won’t let the Falcons get close.
Green Bay at Chicago: (Bears) Short week for the Pack and they are on the road against a divisional rival. Plus I have a gut feeling and sometimes you just go with that!
NY Jets at Tampa Bay: (Jets) Kellen Clemens lights it up because that will make things interesting, won’t it?
Miami at Jacksonville: (Jags) Jags are quietly 5-1 at home while the Dolphins are 2-4 on the road.
Detroit at Baltimore: (Ravens) Hard to see an upset at home for the Ravens when they need this win so badly.
Seattle at Houston: (Texans) Seattle has won two straight and Houston has lost four straight. Both of those streaks will end this week.
Denver at Indianapolis: (Colts) Broncos keep it close but in the end the Colts keep their record clean.
Buffalo at Kansas City: (Bills) Because someone has to win. Oh, they don’t? That’s not what Donovan McNabb told me.
Cincinnati at Minnesota: (Bengals) Vikes want to bounce back but end up falling to a team that nobody will want to play come January.
Carolina at New England: (Patriots) There’s no way they can lose three in a row, right?
Washington at Oakland: (Redskins) FYI, I never pick against my Skins. It’s superstition!
St. Louis at Tennessee: (Titans) Titans get back on track this week.
San Diego at Dallas: (Cowboys) I actually think they will slide in December, but first they will trick us with a victory against the Chargers. It’s a must win game for Dallas.
Philadelphia at NY Giants: (Eagles) Of the three teams in the NFC East race, I think the Eagles are the best and will ultimately come out on top. It starts this week.
Arizona at San Francisco: (Cardinals) Cards win this week, then finish hot against a schedule where they still get to play the Rams and Lions.

There aren't a lot of teams that can go into Minnesota and beat the Vikings, but I think the Bengals might be one of those teams. The Bengals just don't know they aren't supposed to win games like that.

They call it an upset for a reason! I think the Pack might come down from the high they had on MNF.
